Well..thats what im predicting. The sun has burned through the sea har and already the temperature is rising rapidly.
We had midges yesterday evening for the first time in weeks. The fist hatch in May was brutal…very ferocious wee fellas.
Solitary Basking shark to the south of the lighthouse this morning. 3 were seen off Ormsaigbeg a few evenings ago ad 2 seen in Sanna yesterday. I saw on the news last night that they were surveying Basking Shark numbers off the Cornish coast and were struggling to spot any….maybe they are moving north…we have certainly seen more this season than I can ever remember. The whale sightings however are well down on previous years.
