Ardnamurchan Lighthouse Visitor Centre
Latitude 56° 43.6′ N Longitude 6° 13.4′ W
At the most westerly point on the British mainland, Ardnamurchan Lighthouse has been guiding ships safely through the waters off Scotland’s west coast since 1849.
Although the Visitor Centre is closed for the Winter. Ardnamurchan Point is still well worth a visit. The seas are particularly impressive at this time of year with strong winds & gales rolling in from the West.
The Keeper’s Cottage is available for let all year round. A good place for a quiet (or wild!) Hogmanay. Bookings are managed by Steading Holidays.
