Ardnamurchan Lighthouse Visitor Centre

At the most westerly point on the British mainland, Ardnamurchan Lighthouse has been guiding ships safely through the waters off Scotland’s west coast since 1849.
GEOPARK ROOM
A new geology room, covering events that span the 1,000 million year history of Western Ardnamurchan, is to be on Tuesday, 8th September, by Ian Parsons, Emeritus Professor of Mineralogy at Edinburgh University.
The formal opening will be attended by representatives of Highland Council, Visit Scotland, Scottish Natural Heritage, LEADER, and the University of Glasgow, all of whom assisted in the success of the project.
- Open from April 1st until October 31st.
- Stables Coffee Shop and Exhibition Centre, 10 a.m. – 5.30 p.m. every day.
